Charlotte Lab Students
Tré, Branson, John, & Kylie are all students at the Charlotte Lab School.
With the invitation to students at the school made by Jim McCue, Tré decided to co-host the podcast episode with his friend Branson, invited school leaders and fellow students to participate, and additionally edited the video and audio. John and Kylie contributed their thoughts and experiences regarding Charlotte Lab School.
Albert (Tré) is currently a rising sophomore at the Charlotte Lab Upper School. As Tré put it: "Coming into this internship, I never expected to have such a good time working with Mr. McCue, let alone the road that was to come ahead. Once I found out this was a podcast organization, I was anxious to begin. I couldn't have had this once in a lifetime opportunity without Him himself nor had that much more fun without my good friend Branson. Credit to him for the help. I hope to go further in this field as I learn more about the podcast world."
Branson is also currently a rising sophomore at the Charlotte Lab Upper School. As Branson put it: "This internship came to me out of nowhere, but when I was offered the opportunity I knew I had to sign up. I have worked on podcasts in the past, but none have been as fun or as polished as A Revolution in Education. I worked with my friend Tre and Mr. McCue to plan, record, edit, polish, and finalize an interview with LAB employees, and we were able to complete it all on our own. This experience has broadened my horizons, and made me realize how much LAB has changed our lives. This podcast has made me realize all of the opportunities we all have to create change for what we believe in."
John Harmon is a rising sophomore at the Charlotte Lab Upper School. He was born and raised in Charlotte, and loves to be involved with the community. He was excited to participate in this episode, because he has always had an interest in podcasting.
Kylie Southivongnorath is also a rising sophomore at the Charlotte Lab Upper School.
